THE BEST SIGHTS AT LAKE TRAVIS

Lake Travis is one of the most beautiful spots in Texas. The water is fresh, the forests are mesmerizing, and the views are second to none. One of the biggest reasons to visit this iconic spot is to see the best sights at Lake Travis. Here are a few of our personal favorites.

GETTING OUT ON THE WATER

You can’t visit such an iconic body of water and not explore it. Fortunately, you have multiple options for getting out on the lake and having a great time. Lake Travis offers jet ski rentals, fishing boats, and, best of all, party barges. Lake Travis party boats come equipped with grills, restrooms, and other amenities to ensure you and your gang have the most fun out of the water with little to no interruptions.

EXPLORING UNDER THE WATER

Being on a boat is excellent, but don’t underestimate the sights found from a day of scuba diving. Lake Travis is home to many fish species, including bass, catfish, gar, and other surprises. Get your scuba gear and dive below Travis’s surface if you’re up for an underwater adventure.

ENJOY THE OASIS

After the sun starts to set, a great way to end the day is to stop by The Oasis. This multi-level restaurant looks out over the lake and serves signature cocktails and classic dishes ranging from burgers to fajitas.

A full day on the water comes to the best ending when you experience the golden hour from the decks of The Oasis. Of all the best sights at Lake Travis, it’s hard to beat such a beautiful and memorable lookout at its surface.

HIT UP WATER MONKEYS

We’ve all been to water parks before, but how about a water park on the water? Water Monkeys is a unique floating water park right on the lake itself. From the Jungle Waterslide to the Monkey Bounce, Water Monkeys has something exciting for the whole family.

Lake Travis is a special place that travel-hungry folks should visit for camping, swimming, fishing, and fantastic parties out on the lake’s surface. Those interested in renting a party boat during their trip should contact ATX Party Boats for information on their available vessels.
